The Gilbert Lake Association is a group of lake residents interested in the wise recreational use of this natural resource while preserving water quality. Gilbert Lake covers 369 acres with 7.8 miles of shoreline and a maximum depth of 45 feet. There is a public landing on the north side of the lake on Gilbert Lake Road. Fish include Northern Pike, Blue Gill, Bass, and Crappie.
Membership - All Gilbert Lake residents should belong
The Gilbert Lake Association Annual Membership Meeting will be Wednesday, May 8, 2024, starting at 7 pm at the Brainerd VFW, 309 South 6th Street in downtown Brainerd. That is Wings Wednesday at the VFW so there will be BBQ Chicken Wings from 5 to 7 pm. Please bring in your completed annual membership application with a check for $50 dues.
The $50/year pays for signs, marker buoys, insurance, a proposed project to control lake level and much more. Printable applications below.
