2022 Gilbert Lake Triathlon
Group photo above from July 2, 2022.

Link to the current year for up to date scheduling information

The third Annual Gilbert Lake Triathlon was Saturday, July 2, 2022, swimming In the lake started at 8:00 AM at Meyer’s dock. Again this year we had fun!  Started and finished at Meyer’s dock after swimming to the trampoline in front of Karlgaards and Whitemans.  For some, it was ferrying out to the trampoline and then swimming back to Meyer’s dock.

Bikes headed down McKay, through Northtown, turned right on Beaver Dam, turned right onto the Paul Bunyan Trail, turned right onto Wise Rd, turned right onto Riverside, turned right onto McKay and ended up back at Meyer's/Ryan’s driveway. (About a 9-mile bike ride)
Running was to the cul-de-sac at the far end of Birchwood Lane, then back the way they came.  Took a left onto Andberg Way, then a right onto North Oak Drive, and then take a final right on McKay. Finished to lots of cheering at the “T” at Birchwood and McKay. Way to go! They did it!
This was a very friendly event with complimentary popsicles.
Note: Ashli and Fallon have enjoyed coordinating this energetic event, but they are searching for assistance in planning. Please reach out if you are interested in helping this year, or taking over the event prep in the future.
